Essential Guidelines Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2014

Kailash Manasarovar Yatra has been revered for many generations by the Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and ancient Bonpos. For the Hindus, it is the dwelling of Lord Shiva and for the Buddhists, Buddha attained enlightenment there. It therefore occupies a central position in the spiritual domains of these religions. There are several strict rules and guidelines issued from time to time for the safety and welfare of the Yatri’s.

Essential Clothing

The Yatra happens at the time of cool and cold climate (when there’s less snow) in the mountains between May to September. Warm clothing provides sufficient protection from the changing and fluctuating weather conditions in the course of the Yatra.

Essential Accessories

Extra personal effects for hygienic and safe Yatra travel as well easier well-being are among others; first aid kit (very important in case of injury) and water purification tablets. Walking aid, water bottles and personal hygiene kit. There is need for emergency light torch, personal grooming kit, cameras and money safety belt.  The essentials of safe travel can be notebook and pencils.

These basic extra accessories render a certain safety mode for fulfilling Kailash Yatra. Other essential accessories some organizing teams will ensure their availability.
