Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2014 Specious Lunar Dates

The significance of the lunar (Poornima) to the Hindus believers is of vital importance as it shows the alignment of the constellations with the heavenly bodies.

Poornima according to the Hindu calendar occurs each month and symbolizes the division between two lunar fortnights.  There are significant symbolism and manifestations from ancient times that point to why the need for the full moon is auspicious and important not just to the Hindu religion but also Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism and Islam. A few reasons among others are;

-Perfection, completeness and wholeness
-Astrology is central in Hindu spiritual belief

Specious Lunar Kailash Yatra Dates 

Bus Dates
The departure dates for the bus tour to Kailsah Yatra will cover 13 days. Auspicious departure dates align with the full moon on 9th May, 8th June, 7th July, 5th August and 4th September.
 
Jeep Dates
 The jeep departure dates are also aligned with the heavenly constellations on these dates considered auspicious of 9th May, 8th June, 9th July, 9th August and 4th September. The jeep departures are for 13 day period.

Helicopter Dates
The helicopter Yatra to Kailash Parvat (abode of Lord Shiva) is considered auspicious o three dates of 10th May, 9th June and 3rd September. Helicopter Yatra to Kailash are set for 10 days.

With the Yatra dates having been announced a long time ago, it was for the Yatri’s safety and knowledge to undertake any procedural information in mind and decide accordingly to make plans for a safe Yatra.
